Beautiful Hotel - I am staying in one of the updated rooms with my husband for a week and it’s wonderful. The appliances are old but they work perfectly well. Breakfast is wonderful too, and the free bus down to the village makes going to get food a breeze! Highly recommend this place, especially at its affordable price point.

The hotel felt a little out-date but it was good for one night. Many guests didn't have a seating area for breakfast and many had to wander around for a while for a seat. Also breakfast did not include eggs and generally felt very carb heavy. There was a woman over seeing the waffle station which was great. Also the locker area didn't have a changing room specific for the pool area. It was a bathroom with 2 showers and felt a bit dirty when returning from the pool. You'll have to change in the bathroom and will lack some privacy for changing your wet clothes. The pool area was nice, with some privacy hidden by the trees. There was a table tennis area near the pool area and a small gym. I probably won't stay there more than one night in the future.

We had a nice stay here. The staff was friendly and welcoming and upon arrival they gave us a voucher for the little shop they have. They have two large hot tubs and a good sized pool. In the morning is a complimentary breakfast that consists mainly of muffins, cereals, hard boiled eggs and the option to wait for waffles to be made (they’re made fresh 3 at a time). For breakfast I’d recommend going early to get a spot at a table. We found our room to be quiet, though the decor/furnishings is a bit outdated. There have a free shuttle that goes to the village which is helpful since it’s a bit of a ways to walk. On the day you check out you are still able to use their amenities into the afternoon such as the gym, pool and hot tub and they will store your bags for you. The pool and hot tub area opens at 10am and we went out there at about 10:30 but the hot tub wasn’t warm yet, so something I’d suggest is turning them on a bit before it opens so they are ready to use. There was 8 or 9 guests out there wanting to sit in the hot tubs but didn’t seem thrilled about lukewarm water. We enjoyed our stay here and I would stay here again.

They advertise the accommodation as being pet friendly. We were sent packing because we had a cat. So pet friendly meant dog exclusive. So, please just say upfront dogs only. This may be a policy change because we have been welcomed in the past with just a cat additionally cat with a dog on another occasion. .

This is a great hotel! I like that it allows pets. We recieved a complimentary gift voucher for the gift shop, which was nice. The pool is large and clean. They have two hot tubs as well, which was nice to relax in. The beds were really comfortable. There was a free bus shuttle while we stayed there, which we didn't discover until the second day. The breakfast didn't have anything hot, besides the waffles, but it's still good. The decor in the rooms is a bit dated compared to others but it has the "lodge" vibe, which is nice. Overall, it was a great stay.
