Coast Blackcomb

This is a great hotel! I like that it allows pets. We recieved a complimentary gift voucher for the gift shop, which was nice. The pool is large and clean. They have two hot tubs as well, which was nice to relax in. The beds were really comfortable. There was a free bus shuttle while we stayed there, which we didn't discover until the second day. The breakfast didn't have anything hot, besides the waffles, but it's still good. The decor in the rooms is a bit dated compared to others but it has the "lodge" vibe, which is nice. Overall, it was a great stay.

Had an amazing time here. Friendly staff and amazing weather. It's definitely somewhere I would love to come back to again. With the hotel being located at the very top of the mountain drive the views are spectacular and with the free shuttle bus collecting/dropping off it one less thing to worry about if you fancy going out for dinner and a few drinks. As for the pool area it's facing the direction for the sun, so if sunbathing is what you like to do your covered. My thanks to all involved in the hotel, amazing memories I now have to take away from the stay here.

They advertise the accommodation as being pet friendly. We were sent packing because we had a cat. So pet friendly meant dog exclusive. So, please just say upfront dogs only. This may be a policy change because we have been welcomed in the past with just a cat additionally cat with a dog on another occasion. .

The rooms need to be updated, very old furniture and decor, it wasn't that clean, lots of dust I found. I was disappointed that they do not have AC as it was 30+ degrees outside and very hot and stuffy in the rooms. The pool was great, refreshing. The continental breakfast was good, as expected, wish there was bacon and eggs or something more than just cereal and bagels. I am glad they had a free shuttle bus down to the village as I didn't realize how far it was when booking but that was a great service, it runs every 20-30 minutes I believe.

Lovely place! Breakfast was perfect. To avoid crowds take early breakfast (between 7.30 and 8.30). Room was clean and big. Only minor point was the bed for the 3rd person. That was a sleep couch of medium comfort. Very friendly people. Nice and calm neighbourhood.
