This is just what we were looking for. We came to Colorado when the plains temperature was °100 and decided to go up up into the mountains in the middle of summer and it was surprisingly nice. The temperature was around 74 when we got there, a pleasant walk around temperature. You could see the ski slopes but you weren't in downtown Breckenridge where things are so busy and touristy. There is an indoor and outdoor hot tub at this location so that was nice to have in the evenings. Not a ton to do around here in the summer except for the super cute paddle boats in the pond on the side of the hotel. Perfect little place to retreat to in the hot summer when you've been climbing mountains all week. Relaxed seating areas make a Colorado visit worth it. Decent rooms.

my girlfriend and I wanted to get out of town for the night, so she made reservations for Friday, July 30th. When we arrived our room wasn't ready yet. I explained to the fantastic Magdalene who was working the front desk Friday afternoon that we had reservations for dinner at 4:15. She was so kind and helpful and she was able to get us in a room, so we could freshen up and get ready for dinner. So, I want to thank her for the kindness and help. I also want to thank Abigail who was working the front desk Friday night. She was also very kind and showed a tremendous amount of patience under pressure since she was the only one at the front desk helping customers and answering questions. I was particularly impressed on how she handled an irritated and angry customer over something that was very trivial. What I was disappointed about is that this was a situation Abigail's manager should have come out of the back to handle, but didn't. Abigail handled is with poise and professionalism. Great work Abigail and Magdalene. As for the resort itself it was very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the views were beautiful. There are some things that need touching up, such as paint and the indoor hot tub could use new decking as it seems to be rotting a bit. look all in all this a wonderful place to escape to for a long weekend. I will be going back time and time again when I want to get away from the daily grind of the city.

Beautiful location. Beautiful surroundings. I’m not sure if it is the transition out of COVID or if it is like this ever summer, but the service in general was 3 star. No room service, no daily maid service and if you walked around with a drink on the property you needed to take it back to the bar. However, the food was great and the spa was awesome. Great massages for both me and my husband. Played golf at the River course and love every hole. Loved the service there as well. Overall nice but not mind blowing

The rooms are top notch with spacious windows! The scenery is breathtaking! If you want to getaway, I would recommend this Lodge! I can see why the reviews are 5 stars. You can also visit local shops and experience the outdoors. I will definitely return to visit!

The view alone is worth the room. You have a large window that overlooks a gorgeous peak. The room was very nice. The bathroom was a little cramped but it was still nice. The shower needs more water pressure but I didn't feel like I was left with soap on my skin. In each room, there were amenities you didn't know you needed like a box fan and a humidifier. Being from Texas, we are used to AC, and staying in a room without it would have been different for us, but between the fan, and the window that opens up, it was very comfortable in there. Also, the complimentary filtered water was a very nice touch. The self park situation wasn't ideal since there is no where on site to park; the spots are across the street and accessible by a tunnel under the road. It may be worth it to valet if you aren't used to the altitude and don't want to walk back to the hotel. This is a hotel I can see my husband and I taking a special trip back just to stay here again.
