The rooms are small but are stocked with a safe, ironing board, hairdryer, mini fridge, and a decent sized TV. The beds are comfortable and overall it was an enjoyable stay. Great location too, there was a mall directly next to the lodge, with bicycle rentals and other activities close by. They also have a pool, as seen in my photo which shows the back of the lodge from the free sky cab gondolas that travel to the mall and back down the hill.

Great Hotel! My wife and I stayed for a night during our Christmas trip to Aspen. The room was clean and featured the most comfortable bed of our whole trip! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Could not recommend this place more!!

We booked this hotel for the weekend and had such a lovely time. I will say the staff are so friendly and kind. I called ahead to let them know we would be arriving late on Friday because we were coming from Denver. The person I spoke with advised me that if we were going to arrive around 11:00pm that we should eat by at least the town of Glenwood because after that there would be no more open restaurants or fast food, and everything in Aspen would be closed. It sounds like a small thing but it was so helpful, we adjusted accordingly and didn’t arrive after a 4 hour drive hangry. When we got to the hotel it was 11:15 and there was a sign on the door saying to call the on call number. We did and 10 minutes later someone came to check us in. He could be forgiven if he was a little grouchy it was late, and he was clearly at home when we called. But no, he was lovely and gracious, even taking the time to point out helpful tips for our trip. We found the room a little hot with no ac or fan but we asked the guy who checked us in and he gave us a large box fan to put in the window. That was more than sufficient to keep the room cool throughout the night. After a long day of hiking at the Maroon Bells, we came back to the hotel and were pleasantly surprised to find that the room had been turned down, fresh towels, bed made. It seems like after Covid every hotel we’ve been to you have to ask multiple times to have the bed made each morning. We spent the afternoon hanging out at the pool and hot tub. This hotel is more than worth it for the price. The room was clean and spacious, and the guest service was better than we have received at 5 star hotels.

I stayed at the Pokolodi Lodge after hiking from Crested Butte to Aspen with my 9 and 11 year old. Everything was clean and ready for us. The room was exactly what we needed. The Lodge let us have extra towels for swimming and let us keep our packs in the breakfast room so that we could explore town after check out. I feel like they were very accomodating and went above and beyond to give us what we needed. I will definitely stay here again.

If its for one night, this is a good place. If you are coming here in winters then make arrangements to keep yourself warm as there is no heater in the rooms as well as there is no microwave. They charge you high for nothing.
