The Snake River Lodge & Spa is the only AAA four-diamond ski in property in Jackson Hole. As you enter the lobby you'll first notice the rich western d├ęcor full of sculptures and paintings depicting life of the old west, the rich hardwood floors that lead to the two large stone fireplaces and the handcrafted western furniture. The 86 beautifully appointed guest rooms and the 45 two or three bedroom condos at the Snake River Lodge all provide amenities such as daily housekeeping, room service, concierge and bell service, valet ski storage, hot tub, sauna, restaurant, lounge and use of the spa facilities. The luxurious two and three bedroom condos offer such amenities as full kitchens with stainless steel appliances, in unit washer and dryer, dining area, gas fireplaces, glass walled shower, jetted bathtub, and granite countertops. The property is located at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and is a short 15 minute drive to the shops and nightlife of downtown Jackson.

We stayed here for five nights the week before Christmas. Location of the property was great. Right in Teton Village and steps away from the ski lifts and gondolas. However, the hospitality of this hotel was incredibly pathetic. Upon checking in, the front desk manager was acting very manic and kept complaining about how busy they were. Which you think someone would be grateful for since so many businesses across America are defaulting and struggling. I sort of let this one incident slide and wrote it off as he's having a bad day. Unfortunately, the second encounter with this person was even worse. I was out of my room all day, on the mountain skiing. I came back to my room and discovered it was not serviced by housekeeping. So I went downstairs, talked to the same front desk manager about servicing my room. He declined to ask housekeeping to service my room, and instead belittled me and decided to try to teach me about the rules and hours of house keeping. Walked back to my room, ran into a house keeper and asked them to service my room, they said no problem. I was very irritated by the front desk manager so I decided to contact the group that owns this property which is the Newport Hotel Group. They never emailed me back. But, one of the managers of Snake River Lodge did actually call me and ask if there was anything they could do. I asked him what they're offering and he offered a bottle of wine to be brought to the room. I respectfully declined. My point is, for being in the hospitality business the employees don't know how to treat their guest whatsoever. There are many other options to chose from where the staff is much friendlier (aka The Four Seasons which is next door).

Great location in the village. Nice rooms and decor. Zero customer service and very rude staff. Room requested/paid for was not given to us, staff basically said tough luck and we never received a call from manager. Owners need to reevaluate staffing/management if they want to keep charging what they do.

This is a nice hotel and the room we finally ended up with was lovely. But the first room we were offered was not what we had booked online. When we went back to the front desk we were told we had to upgrade $30 per day to get the room we booked online. On the day before we were scheduled to check out, we requested a late check out due to the fact that we wanted to book a horseback ride across the street at the stables which was scheduled from 10am to noon. We were assured it would not be an issue by the front desk person. On the morning of the horseback ride, my husband called to confirm the late check out. He was very rudely informed by the manager this was not possible and that we'd have to be out on time. In his own curt words, "You don't have a choice." The lack of courtesy and flexibility by the manager makes me rate this hotel zero stars but I'll give it two stars since the rooms were clean.

Customer service is not a priority at this "resort". Had to cancel a reservation because the JHMR is limiting ticket sales due to COVID. This hotel gave us the run around for three days from rude reservation and front desk employees as well as a "manager" after 4 days of contact. In the end would they not refund one cent, citing their policy even though we did not stay at the hotel because we cancelled the stay. I hope they enjoy the $$ all for doing nothing but being total creeps. We have been a long time loyal customer with many stays which meant nothing to them.

This place is great! The service is spectacular and it has easy access to the mountain. This is my second time here and I will return in the future.
