We came here for a few nights on our honeymoon. The good: The staff was friendly and helpful. They even sent champagne and chocolate strawberries to our room. The okay: We were first placed in one of their two King suites. These rooms are nice inside but the bedroom windows face the upper parking lot (headlights can shine right through the window) and are located right by the entry which can get noisy. When we asked about changing rooms, they gave us a complimentary upgrade to one of the condos. This room was great except the bed was well used and the bed linens were kind of old. The weird: We came in May, which I realize is still kind of the offseason. The place feels kind of strange and empty... which is not a knock, it's just kind of weird.

Decent food and great activities to do. The roller coaster and climbing course are top notch. Lots of amenities and staff is nice. Plus great location near trail heads and bus stops right at the front to take you anywhere in town or to Teton Village. Prices can be steep.

We got the 3 bedroom condo and it was huge! We had the whole top floor to ourselves it was pretty cool. Only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because they didn't clean the kitchen from the previous stay. I found an empty Tyson chicken freezer bag in a drawer with all the gross crumbs as well as some other things left behind. It makes me wonder if they change the sheets!

We recently had our wedding reception at Snow King in the Grand View Lodge, and it turned out so perfectly! Through the last 7 months I ended up being helped by a number of people, but ended with Caralyn who was AMAZING! She listened to everything I needed or wanted, was there helping set up with us the morning of, and made everything so easy! The rooms are beautiful, I'd definitely recommend the condos if you're staying longer or with a bigger group! I'd do it all over again if Caralyn was there helping through it all :)

***Updating review based on resolution to my issue. I was contacted by their marketing manager and discussed the issue I was having. Basically, due to an error by front desk staff my personal card was charged the full rate for the room instead of the card that was used to to make my reservation (owned by the university that funded my trip). I was not anticipating having to pay for my entire stay using my personal card (I am a college student with a tight budget) and this error pretty much cleaned out my bank account, but I appreciate the resort’s efforts to reach out to fix this issue. In the future, I would encourage Snow King to do a better job of stating the fees guests are expected to pay (such as resort fees) when they make their reservation, instead of only once they arrive at the hotel. This will definitely help those who are traveling on a tight budget be better prepared and enjoy their stay. ** Original review Overall, I am leaving this hotel disappointed and frustrated. I usually stay in very cheap hotels and have no complaints about the staff or room quality relative to a one-star hotel, but be aware that the quality of the rooms is NOT what I would expect for the hotel's price and appearance. Personally, I saw no difference in room quality between here and a Super 8 (considering things such as a screen less window that barely opens, old plumbing, dirt in corners and other areas of the room, an old/noisy AC unit, and a lack of power plugs for charging). Most frustrating was that the quoted cost for my stay didn't include sales or "lodging" tax, a $15 "resort" fee per night, then sales and lodging tax ON that resort fee. Overall my stay was fine, but If i come again I will save the money (and avoid shady unannounced charges) and stay in a Super 8 or motel instead. *Lowered to a one-star review because I now have a $230 charge on my card that the resort “can’t explain” and am fairly certain I was overcharged by $70 upon checkout. As a college student with a low income who only stayed here thinking that the hotel had been paid in full from university funding prior to arriving, the $330 I have been additionally charged so far has been financially crippling. Based on my experience as of now, I feel I have been taken advantage of and would encourage people to stay away from this hotel.
