I've stayed at a lot of pet friendly hotels but this is the most pet friendly. Be sure to stop by their wall of pet visitor pictures. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean, if a bit dated. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. The location is convenient and I am appreciative of the free parking.

My family and I stayed at Winter Park Vintage over Spring Break. We stayed in a 1-bedroom Loft, which was really two hotel rooms connected by a single door. The hotel room had 2 queen beds and the loft included a queen down and queen up, a kitchenette, table, and fireplace. The accommodations were roomy for our family of five, which included two boys and a toddler. We decided to stay an extra day, due to a blizzard the blew in mid-week. We skied and snowboarded for 4 out of the 6 days at the Winter Park Mountain Resort. Following are pros and improvements regarding our stay. Pros (Vintage): - Room was accommodating for our family and had a nice view of the pool and mountain ranges (rooms 340 and 342). - Kitchenette had everything needed for most meals, although refrigerator is a mini-fridge, so we kept a cooler to accommodate. - Front desk was very accommodating to our questions and needs. - Easy access to the pool and large hot tub. There are porch heaters and a wet room that make getting in and out of the hot tub accommodating. - Restaurant and bar downstairs. The food was quite good and bar service was great. - Gondola lift to the Winter Park Mountain Resort from 7:00am – 6:00 pm. Bus Service every 30 minutes after 6:00 pm. - I hate to mention this, but I do a thorough bed bug check at every hotel I stay in (yes I have found them in some of the nicest hotels) – NONE found here. - Improvements (Vintage): - Rooms need updating. The room we stayed in had wallpaper pealing at the seams and there was a large area in the loft above the bed that looks like a large painting was removed and paint started, but not finished. - Allergies – I don’t understand it, but everyone in our party – included others that stayed in other rooms had severe allergy reactions. One theory is that the hotel does not have A/C, so in the summer fans bring in the pollen from outside and it rests in the carpet… - Lockers are nice in the hotel, but the walk from the lifts is 0.4 miles. This is a long walk at the end of a day, with kids, wearing ski boots, and hauling stuff. It would be stellar if the Vintage had some space located near the lifts for guests to store their stuff. We ended up using the rental cages to store skis and snowboards (long line) and then pulled kids and backpack in wagon (scarce at the end of the day). - Hot tub is nice, but easily 100 people rotate through it per night. The water smell was dank after a few days and you could smell it on your swim suit. I noticed the staff cleans and puts chemicals in every morning, but the amount of people rotating through the water should be refreshed every other day. One way is to release and refresh 25% every third day to keep it fresh. - Front desk fields lots of questions – everything from park information to highway conditions. This creates lines, as well as blocks main entry. Consider concierge service – even better similar to cruise ships if the cleaning staff acted as a contact point, then leave a gratuity envelope at the end of stay.

Very nice place to stay. Friendly, accommodating and the Cabriolet to get you quickly to the village

Huge rooms. Awesome staff. Humidifier was unexpected surprise. Fully stocked kitchenette.

Great room. I have no complaints about the room. They even have a humidifier and a box fan in each room. Numerous pillows so you don't have to worry about 1 flat pillows. The staff has been so nice and helpful all the way to the very nice housekeeper. She stopped us in the hall, since we had the do not disturb on the door, the see if there was anything we needed. Instead of giving you two creamers and two sugars per cup they give you a basket full of creamer's and sugars so you're not limited on how many you use. The fact that I didn't have to pay for parking was a big deal with me. Having to pay for parking after I paid for a room, makes me angry. The gondola right outside takes you to some shopping in 2.5 minutes. The price was very reasonable. The tubing was ok but very convenient being right outside. We will be coming back with the kids.
