The Town of Bend
It has been said that our high desert oasis has "300 days of sunshine" and here you will find some of the finest
places for year-round, outdoor adventure. During winter, most of our region turns into a snowy playground with
downhill skiing, snowboarding, XC-skiing, snowshoeing and sledding. Central Oregon is home to some of the country's
top craft breweries, tax-free shopping, and great après-adventure entertainment. Small mountain town vibes meets
sophistication here, so expect to find worldly menus and upscale cocktail bars mixed among local breweries and taco
joints. There’s honestly no end to mouthwatering meals at Bend’s restaurants, breweries, food trucks and cafes
around the city. Bend’s culinary scene draws foodies from around the globe. There is no shortage of places to eat
from classics like steak, fresh fish, burgers, BBQ and something a little more out of the box like Indian, Sushi,
Thai and Vegan. The Bend Ale Trail - The Largest Beer Trail in the West! For a thousand good reasons Bend, Oregon is
widely known as the premier outdoor playground of the United States. But a lesser-known element of the Bend
Experience is the city’s extraordinary abundance of craft beer – incredibly delicious craft beer! Bend and
surrounding communities are home to nearly 30 craft breweries (and growing), many within walking distance of one
another. For the Wine Lovers there are many Micro Wineries in Bend!
The Old-Mill District is nestled alongside the Deschutes River, the Old Mill District is home to an eclectic mix of
restaurants, tasting rooms, shops and riverside trails right in the heart of Bend. This area is about 10 minute walk
or 5 minutes by Uber.
