The rooms have a small refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave.  Hotel amenities include an indoor pool with hot tub, on-site restaurant, and fitness center.

The Mountains

Powder Mountain

Powder Mountain is the largest ski resort in North America, with over 8,000 acres. The mountain receives over 500 inches of snow annually, and has 154 ski trails. Complimentary mountain tours are provided daily at 10AM and 1PM.

Ever wanted to try Cat Skiing, but it was too expensive? Check this mountain out. There is an assortment of very reasonable Cat Skiing from $25 dollar per single ride, to full day guided cat tours covering the entire 8000 acres.

As a bonus, Powder Mountain only releases 1,500 lift tickets per day to ski over 8,000 acres, so it may even get lonely up there!

Snowbasin

Snowbasin's magnificent God-given terrain and plentiful powder snow with four sumptuous lodges, world-class lifts with impressive vertical rise, high-speed gondolas, chairlifts, and a Tram whisk snow-sport and food lovers up nearly 3,000 vertical feet into the distant corners of this vast arena, unveiling an endless variety of choices that satisfy all appetites. DeMoisy Express High Speed Lift, new for the 2024 season, drops in a wind-protected area above Dan’s Run.

Snowbasin Hosted the Olympic Winter Games in 2002. It has World class lifts that were ranked #2 by Ski Magazine, breathtaking views, a battalion of snow groomers, and - it's just 17 minutes East of Ogden, where we will be staying!

Enjoy the well-groomed runs (rated #3 in the West by Ski Magazine) and a lift system that is the most advanced in Utah, with magic carpets to gondolas, high speed, and a Tram.

Needles Gondola serves the Base to a large variety of beginner and intermediate terrain. The Strawberry Gondola leads to spacious bowls and long groomers. The John Paul Express takes you to ski the famous Olympic runs Grizzly and Wildflower. And the Allen Peak Tram gives you 360 degree views of multiple states.

This mountain also has three luxurious lodges with great food and views, including Earl Lodge at the base, and Needles and John Paul lodges on the mountain top, as well as mountain picnic tables available for quick eat and go.
