Other features include the luxurious 7,725 square foot Rock Resort Spa, exercise room, large heated outdoor pool with two large hot tubs, piano bar perfect for après-ski, and lift-side FREE ski valet.

Ski rental is just steps from our lodging at our negotiated low pricing for our travelers.

The Mountain(s)

The Vail Ski Area boasts three distinct regions for unparalleled skiing and snowboarding. We can explore three terrain parks, seven bowls, and 5,289 skiable acres of varying terrain and 3,450 vertical feet with 31 lifts and 193 total trails. Ski the wide open runs of the “Back Bowls” area -- some of the widest groomed ski runs in the nation are found there. Hit “Blue Sky Basin” for a fabulous run through the widely-spaced trees. Vail has some Epic skiing for all levels.
  • Average Annual Snowfall: 370 inches
  • Base Elevation: 8,120 feet, Peak Elevation: 11,570 feet
  • Vertical Rise: 3,450 feet
  • Total Skiable Area: 5,289 acres; Front Side: 1,627 acres; Back Bowls: 3,017 acres; Blue Ski Basin: 645 acres
  • Lift System: 31 Total Lifts: 2 Gondolas, 3 High-speed 6, 14 High-speed Quads, 1 Fixed-grip quad, 2 Triple chairs, 3 Surface lifts and 6 Magic Carpets
  • Trail Classification: 18% Beginner; 29% Intermediate; 53% Expert/ Advanced

Winter Recreation

  • Adventure Ridge (top of the mountain) provides tubing, ski-biking, and more. Snowmobiling, ice skating, sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, backcountry, and nightly entertainment are available as well.
  • Other Activities: The Bavarian-like Vail Village is renowned for its assortment of fine restaurants, bars, and shops.
  • Pedestrian-friendly; the Village and Lionshead invites you to roam the town. The shopping is, as expected, upscale. Many nightspots in Vail are world famous, offering great cuisine and entertainment of all types.
  • Vail Village and Lionshead are just steps away from the slopes. Vail always has something fun and exciting to do after the slopes are closed! Vail brings in top music artists year round, and most of them are FREE concerts.
