Trip Highlights
Catch an awesome mountain! Catch a wonderful town! Reel in some first-class lodging!! Join your fun and experience trip leaders, Terry and Roger, for all the exciting fun our trip has to offer. Are you afraid of ghosts? Don't be, snow ghosts at Whitefish are universally adored!! Join TBSSB for the week of Saturday, January 31 to Saturday February 7, 2026. We are staying at the wonderful 4 Diamond Lodge at Whitefish Lake. Flying into Glacier National Airport so only a short drive to the lodging. This week will be jam-packed with lots of fun events, and this is a great deal for any skier/boarder at our advertised price of $1,979. Spots will be filling up fast!
Whitefish Mountain Resort in Montana overlooks Glacier National Park. The views are awesome, but the 3,000 skiable acres for all abilities will keep your adrenaline pumping all week. Whitefish receives 300 inches of snow annually and is known for its consistent snow, dropping a few inches several times a week rather than one big storm. This provides outstanding conditions each day for skiers and boarders. Whitefish Mountain Resort is still a place where people come to escape the crowds, the hassles, and the pressures of everyday life. We hope that you’ll join us in celebrating in the unhurried, easy-going atmosphere this Montana wonder has to offer. We have awesome lift ticket pricing too!!
It’s only a 30-minute drive from Glacier Park International Airport to the 4 Diamond Lodge at Whitefish Lake. We will be staying in style at this tremendous property. We will have a few options for lodging with hotel rooms and condos. You will appreciate the attention to detail and service you will receive from the Lodge. From check in to check out, they know how to treat you right.
The Town
The town of Whitefish is just a few minutes from the resort and features acclaimed restaurants, bars, local breweries, and art galleries. The town is easily accessible by hotel Shuttle or the town’s “S.N.O.W.” Bus. Don’t want to ski/board every day, try some of the many other activities, including Glacier National Park tours, snowmobiling, dog-sled tours, cross-country skiing, backcountry cat skiing, sleigh ride dinners, and ice skating.
Lodging
Just a little more about the 4 Diamond Lodge at Whitefish Lake. The property is surrounded by mountains with the pristine waters of Whitefish Lake at our back door, and all the amenities of a full-service resort hotel. The location is perfect as The Lodge is only a few minutes from downtown Whitefish (1 mile), 10-minute drive (6 miles) from the ski slopes of the Whitefish Mountain Resort, and less than a 30-minute drive (25miles) to the scenic wonders of Glacier National Park.
You will be impressed with the cozy and inviting rustic décor. The rooms feature crackling fireplaces and comfortable beds to enjoy after a long day on the mountain. There is always something to do at The Lodge such as enjoying coffee and conversation while overlooking the lake, take in dinner in the Boat Club Restaurant, melt stress away with a massage in the spa, or hang out at the beautiful pool and hot tub areas. The choice is yours. It is all here waiting for you at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake.
The Mountain
This will be one of the most beautiful mountains you will ever ski/board. Don’t be afraid of the snow ghosts, they are stunning!! With views of Glacier National Park, the Canadian Rockies, and Flathead and Whitefish Lakes. There are 4 skiable sides to Whitefish Mountain with 3,000 acres with plenty of glades, chutes, and bowl skiing to go along with all the cruisers. There are 111 marked runs supported by 14 Lifts, including 1 High Speed 6 person chair, 3 High Speed Quad chairs. There is virtually no lift lines. The base elevation is 4,400 feet and the summit is 6,800 feet, so altitude is not an issue here. Terrain is 12% beginner, 40% intermediate, 42% advanced, 6% expert, all adding up to 100% fun. The longest run is 3.3 miles. The average annual snowfall is 300 inches. Night skiing is available Friday and Saturday night. The best way to learn about the mountain is to take advantage of the mountain ambassador tour guide service which is offered daily at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. The guides will enthusiastically tell you everything about the mountain and maybe some history of Whitefish along the way.
On the mountain there are 6 restaurants, 4 accessible by skiing. Recently Whitefish Mountain added a NEW LIFT with NEW TERRAIN at Flower Point, along with a total of $2 million plus of renovations and improvements! This means seven new intermediate runs, additional advanced gladed terrain, and more north-facing slopes that provide excellent conditions throughout the season plus new breath-taking views into Glacier National Park!
