Join Mike and David on the Wild West Adventure that is Telluride as you ski some of the best Colorado has to offer. This trip includes round trip air from Tampa to Montrose, bus transfer, 7 night’s accommodations at the Mountain Lodge, discounted equipment rentals, après ski festivities, free gondola rides with breathtaking views for easy access to the old western mining town. Let the pampering begin!
Telluride was established as a mining town in 1878. Local lore says it gets its name from ‘To Hell You Ride”. Whether true or not, it conveys the true spirit of this town. It’s a National Historic Landmark District, with tons of history: Butch Cassidy robbed his first bank here; a local mine was the first in the world to use alternating current (AC) electricity; if you've ever had a Coors beer, those mountains on the can are from nearby Wilson Peak.
Believe it or not, just riding the Gondola can be a panoramic marvel. Telluride's gondola system provides free transportation between the town of Mountain Village and the town of Telluride. It’s a quiet 13-minute ride from town to town with breathtaking scenery and 360-degree panoramic views. On a clear day, looking west you can also see the La Sal Mountain range in central Utah near Moab. Continuing down, the gondola places you just a short walk into downtown for shopping, and dining
For fun off the slopes, take a snowmobile ride to a mining era ghost town, visit the historical museum in an old miners' hospital, or stop in at the unique Wilkinson Public library to rent snowshoes or even rent a karaoke machine. And, if that isn’t enough, you can experience a true winter vacation with unmatched downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, and heli-skiing. Enjoy an exciting snowmobile excursion or bundle up for a romantic sleigh ride through magical winter forests. If you need a day off from the elements, Telluride is full of culture with art galleries and a local opera house that presents ballet, theater, symphonies and concerts throughout the winter season.

**NOTE: We are offering a back-to-back Telluride/Crested Butte trip option for those guests looking to double their adventure! Please look for this dual trip option in the Airfare and Ground sections of your registration. Make sure to also register separately for the Crested Butte trip.
