We asked for a late checkout, normally 11am but they have us until noon. Then the maid service walked in on us twice without knocking before 11:30 am, once while I was half dressed standing in the bathroom by the front door! There is mandatory valet which is fine but when I booked they said $20, at checkout it was $25. We had a studio suite with the most uncomfortable fold-down Murphy bed! All for over $350/night plus a $30 service fee. The location was convenient for night life in Vail Village.

Incredibly nice and hospitable staff! Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, amenities are perfect. They give you refillable filtered water in glass bottles each day in your room, which is SUCH a nice touch! You can walk to everything in Vail village. Restaurants on site. Best gym I've seen in a hotel in a while, plus a spa where you can use the hot tub and sauna complimentary. They set out little treats and desserts in the lobby in the afternoons and were so kind. Pool was under construction when I stayed in May but it looks beautiful.

The hotel is in an outstanding location, you have ski slopes nearby, within walking distance of the village (Chocolate factory is pretty much on the other side of the hotel), and the scenery is great. As for the staff, they were outstanding. I had breakfast delivered rather quickly, and it was an excellent meal. I could ask for just about anything and they'd come through; they also had great attitudes towards guests. The rooms themselves are all right, they aren't super-fantastic or anything, but they're comfortable, clean, and not to look down upon. You have pretty much everything you need in them. Overall a good experience, I'd stay here if I return to Vail.

Excellent service and excellent rooms. One of the most comfortable experiences.

Wonderful, historic location. Cozy little rooms with top notch service. Our remote wasn't working at 11pm and a technician was up to our room in 3 minutes to help.
