The hotel is really nice. The hotel had the feel of being pretty old but not in a negative way. Everything was very well maintained. We rented a 2 bedroom (both king beds), 3 bathroom room. The bedrooms were huge. Even with King sized beds in them, they still felt very roomy. The bathrooms were all VERY clean. There was also a living room with a fireplace. Every room that had windows (and that was every room except two of the bathrooms) had a great view. There were only two things that I would say were better with other stays on our trip (well other than lacking a swimming pool... but it's a ski town and there were plenty of other things to do): 1) Parking cost of $15 and we had to park in a garage around the corner. They had us leave our car on the street the night before because we arrived after the front desk was closed but made us move to the garage and we still got charged for just parking an hour in the garage that morning. 2) The other thing was the breakfast area. The breakfast was decent (but offered less options than most other places we stayed on the trip). The area for people to sit while they eat was also fairly small and felt like there was no privacy. I suspect they did the best they could with the limited space in the area. Nice hotel... I would definitely stay there again.

I had received a message Friday morning confirming our reservation and had made a call later that afternoon to let them know that we would be arriving after 8pm. They gave me the lock box code and said our envelope would be there with instructions for parking (with permit) and instructions to get into our room. They didn’t have our envelope in the lock box for us (or someone simply took it which seems like an unsafe system), and when we finally got ahold of after hours staff to help us (20 min) they then put us in a room that was already occupied. We had to wait in the lobby for an hour for someone to call us to get our room figured out after they put us in an occupied room, and when we got into our room the A/C didn’t work. The lady that finally called us said they wold make it right for us in the morning and all they felt compelled to do was comp our parking. I’m 6 months pregnant and had travelled 2 1/2 hours to be there for work the next morning, the entire experience was terrible and completely unacceptable.Thankfully I was traveling with my husband, and we didn’t walk in on anything bad when we got to the first room that was occupied, because that could have been an extremely dangerous situation! I will never recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever stay here again. Your hotel needs to do better.

The entire staff here are amazing! We had the worst situation a parent could have happen on our first night here. Our six year old son went missing in the middle of the night. We found out he is a sleepwalker! Luckily there was no foul play and it was our son who had opened, walked out the door and ended up on a different floor. The doors have a deadbolt, which was locked, but don't have the little chain thing at the top to secure it from kids walking out or people coming in. There was a lady that found him on her floor and called 911 while I was on the phone with 911. It all ended well, but was unsettling for the moments when there was uncertainty on the location of our son. The staff followed up with us and ensured we were good the following couple days. In a separate event our two youngest sons locked our oldest son's stuffed animal (Pablo) in the safe in our room. Doug, the hotel's engineer, was AMAZING! He ended up having to drill the safe out to rescue Pablo. Our oldest son could not have been happier. He really went out of his way to ensure our family was good and even gave our kid's a little note and some hammer shaped chocolates. On the last day I had tripped over the stand by one of the couches, which sent the glass on top flying off. Needless to say, the glass broke. I let Doug know and he said it happens frequently. I had felt terrible previously. He reassured me it wasn't a big deal. The hotel is older, but everyone here is so incredibly kind. Although our stay may sound like a series of unfortunate events it was an incredible stay. I could go on and on about the delicious breakfast, kind staff and people, the events and places we went, and so on, but it would make this review incredibly long. Getting to the point we love the place and people so much so we thought about relocating to the area!!!!

Our family had an great weekend away at BC. Jordan and the rest of the front desk staff worked hard to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The ski lockers were very convenient. The breakfast was great and served very safely. Thanks for doing such an awesome job during these difficult times.

One day before my wife and I were due to check in, I tested positive for COVID 19. The lodge automatically processes your stay's payment 24 hours before check-in. But since the payment had already gone through, we got told that we can't get our money back because Post Montane is owned as a time share and the owners can set their rules different than other hotels. I was supposed to be having a 10 year reunion with the people I was deployed with in Afghanistan. So rather than be understanding of a pandemic act of God and reimburse ANY of our payment, Post Montane Lodge decided they want to steal $600 from a combat veteran that could barely afford to stay with them to begin with. I will advise anybody to stay away from this establishment and the crooks that own it for the rest of my life.
