The Westin is now the centerpiece of the new Riverfront Village and includes the Riverfront Express Gondola. The new gondola is just steps from the hotel\'s backdoor, taking guests to/from the slopes of Beaver Creek and the Avon transit center is directly next to The Westin if guests want to take a shuttle to nearby Vail for a day at the largest ski resort in America.  The Westin Riverfront Resort is modern in decor and features a 23,000 sq. ft. spa, a 25 meter lap pool, jacuzzi (2), gym with state of the art equipment, three outdoor and riverside hot tubs, ski shop, deli, restaurants, lounge and even a kids club!  The Resort features 290 guest rooms that range from hotel and studio units to one to three-bedroom condos. All units exclusive of the hotel rooms feature custom designed gourmet kitchens and fireplaces. All units regardless of size feature the Heavenly® beds designed for the Westin.

We were traveling with our little 3 children all day. They could not stay in the car any longer. We called the Marriott and asked for information on the phone about staying in the Westin hotel. We explained that we were from out of town and driving through. The Marriott receptionist explained that a room was available for us. We drove 30 min out of our trip and arrived at the Valet parking in the poring rain. The Valet man was so rude. I couldn’t believe how awfully we were treated. He snapped at us that we could not park our car with a little luggage cart pulled behind. I said no one told us there was no parking. He said. We shouldn’t have to! It was pouring rain the kids were tired had to get inside the hotel to rest. Nope. This guy threatens us saying it’s not his responsibility to help us park and that we better leave or he will have us towed! We ask, where we can go. He respond that we have to call the Avon police to park! No one on the phone had mentioned this at all. We would have kept driving or found a different hotel. They told us just enough initially to get us there then piled on all the exclusions. We asked another valet man if we could park nearby while we checked in until we could find where else to go. The guy says yes you can park in front of our loading area on the side that’s fine for 1 night. We get the kids inside and order room service. A man called the room demanding that I run downstairs to move the vehicle because he is going to have it towed. He says the other guy should not have given us permission to park and that he is going to tow it. By this time it is still raining, but now dark outside and the kids have to go to bed. Marriott was completely hostile. My husband goes downtown to look for another place to park, but it is dark and he is not familiar with the town. I stay with the kids, but we couldn’t relax. We consider packing the kids up and driving home. This is stupid staying here. He finally asked the manager if we can park off to the side since after calling the police and driving around we still don’t know where to go. The Manager decided to let us stay, and not tow our car. We discovered that our room didn’t have any blankets or pillows on the couch. I have to walk downstairs to request them. Now it is really late, and the kids are exhausted. In the morning we wake up early and found one of the 4 spaces had become available. We park there. Another morning disruption to find parking. It would have been nice if they would have at least provide a map or directions to an acceptable place to park, but we were treated horribly. This is an expensive exclusive hotel right? Nope. The pool was nice I guess, but we were too stressed to enjoy it.

My overall experience at this “resort” was horrible! They do not understand customer service and will make up excuses when giving them feedback. I would highly encourage everyone to look elsewhere. This property will not meet your expectations! You will need to get your own drinks when sitting by the pool and wait close to 45 min in line to be told they are out of something. When booking reservations at the restaurant you will wait over 30 min past your reservation time to get a table. Honestly not worth the hassle!

Really nice hotel. The staff was fantastic -friendly and super helpful. Very nice amenities. But there were dogs everywhere. Not everyone is okay with sharing a space with pets.

Stayed here at the end of season on the final week for Beaver Creek. What a great property. Staff was great. Room was second to none. Super comfy, plush, up to date. Views were spectacular. Swimming was nice, excellent deck. Pool was a tad chilly, but it is a TRUE lap pool so probably better that it was cool. The spa/hot tub was perfect. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the actual spa services because of time, but they looked top notch. Location is great. Easy access to Beaver Creek without having to be in the busy village. We will be back

My company has been holding their annual board retreats here for the past 8 years. The resort staff have been stellar, the conference rooms wonderful, catering always spot on, and PSA has been over the top in providing audio visual support. And, of course, the tranquil riverside setting in the midst of the beautiful mountain slopes really makes this an ideal retreat location.
