Ever wonder where all of the winter sports/ski Olympians grow up? Well it is Steamboat Colorado or as popularly known “Ski Town USA”. Although many of the Olympians grow up and train in Steamboat there is enough terrain for every level of skier. Most well known for their tree skiing and Champagne Powder.

Getting to Steamboat is a breeze for group there are three airports all within a short drive to Steamboat: Hayden (~20 miles), Eagle (~95 miles), or Denver (~180 miles). Then once you are in Steamboat with most accommodations being ski in/out or on the shuttle route there is no need for further transportation arrangements.

Steamboat Ski Resort offers winter non-stop flights from eight major airports on key U.S. carriers- American, Delta and United Airlines into Steamboat/Hayden Airport for the 2013/2014 season.  

Steamboat Group Ground Transportation

Different transportation options are available, charter buses and shuttles can be scheduled through private groups.  Storm mountain Express offers a premier shared ride shuttle service as well as private transfers including, TV, DVD and complimentary beverages.  Groups can also use Alpine Airport shuttle for their convenient and prompt arrival to Steamboat.  

Steamboat Group Activities

Steamboat has enough winter activities to keep you busy and never want to leave!  Groups can start their morning off with first tracks while being lead their way around Steamboat on a free mountain tour.  Groups can experience the mountain by going cross country skiing or wrapped in blankets on a sleigh ride.  If you have kids in the group bring them to the Coca Cola Adventure Zone where they can play on bungee jump trampolines at the bottom of the Gondola.
