Group Wine Events

Sports America is now pouring Harvest Moon Estate & Winery for our 2018/19 Group Wine functions!

Harvest Moon is a smaller winery in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma county - down the road a few miles from our office. Wines are produced in small batches of 75-400 cases allowing great attention to detail to highlight each vintage's best features. As with many smaller wineries in the area, distribution is almost exclusively direct sales or via their tasting room thus allowing us to offer trip participants a wine country experience that usually requires visiting our home (which everyone should do!)

The number of bottles for each event varies by group size. In general, 80% to 85% of wine provided for the events will be from the Harvest Moon varietals shown below. We anticipate 4-5 different types for each trip (or all, for very large groups) allowing trip leaders to offer their members either a casual evening with wine or a full-fledged wine tasting event if they prefer.

The remaining wines for each event will come from the list of additional white wines further down the page. This provides for a roughly 1/3 - 2/3 split between white and red wines which has been group preferences in the past.
